The GeoGraphics Information Systems group provides Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services, data, mapping, and graphic design services for the County of Oxford.
The GGIS group maintains and operates the web Land Related Information System (webLRIS) for use by County staff, and staff from eight local municipalities. Maintenance of these databases and applications is central to GIS provision at the County.
Staff also work to accommodate requests for special studies and analyses of geographic (map) and tabular data from other County departments. Data maintenance and management is a large part of the GIS work at the County.
