The Department is responsible for day to day administration, supervision, and maintenance of the Salford Landfill, Water and Waste Water facilities, County Roads and facilities owned or leased by the County.Department staff maintains County owned and leased properties throughout Oxford. Properties range from new structures, such as the Ingersoll Town Centre, home of Oxford County Library, to historical buildings such as the County Courthouse in Woodstock. Staff strive to maintain the unique characteristics of the properties, while at the same time working to ensure they are accessible to all citizens of Oxford.The department maintains over 800 Acres of forest. The department also maintains the Leslie Dickson Arboretum (Northeast of Woodstock) and the County Park in the Thames River Valley between Woodstock and Beachville.The County's Land Related Information Systems (LRIS) group has created an on-line dynamic map that allows the user to discover County owned or leased properties.
