Now that an onsite diversion program has been established, electronic waste materials (see material list below) will no longer be permitted to be landfilled as per Oxford County By-Law No. 4954-2008; this aspect of the by-law will be enforced.
When you are ready to dispose of your old electronics, consider donating them to a charity, school, friend or bring them to the Oxford County Permanent Electronic Waste Depot.
|
Effective April 1, 2010, OxfordCounty will divert electronic waste material from landfill.

Location of the Depot:
Materials will be diverted to the new Permanent Electronic Waste Depot located onsite at the OxfordCounty landfill site at 384060 Salford Road, east of the Village of Salford.
