Woodingford Lodge investigating test result with Southwestern Public Health

Woodingford Lodge-Woodstock is investigating a positive COVID-19 test result for an employee. This is not a confirmed case of COVID-19.

Woodingford Lodge-Woodstock is working with Southwestern Public Health to investigate a positive COVID-19 test result for an employee. This is an investigation only at this stage and not a confirmed case of COVID-19.

As a precautionary measure, we have temporarily isolated the resident area in which the employee worked and are following the same disinfection and personal protection measures we would in the event of a confirmed case. Family members with a resident in this area have been notified.

Because “false positives” do occur for healthcare workers, moving forward, when there is an active investigation underway at Woodingford Lodge we will post this information to our website at If there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 at any of the Woodingford Lodge sites, we will issue a public announcement.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Woodingford Lodge has remained committed to the highest health protection standards possible for our residents. We thank our residents, employees and our families for their ongoing support.
