Appeal for donations of protective equipment by Paramedic Services
Oxford County Paramedic Services is appealing for masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and other supplies to share among local healthcare partners
The response to the COVID-19 outbreak has led to a worldwide shortage of protective equipment such as gloves, masks, hand sanitizer and more. This is a pressing concern in the healthcare sector, where paramedics, hospital workers, long-term care homes, primary care and others are facing challenges in restocking their supplies.
Paramedic Services is appealing to local businesses and community partners for donations or supplies to support Oxford County’s local healthcare professionals:
- N95 masks
- Surgical/procedure masks
- Nitrile exam gloves
- Disposable isolation gowns
- Hand sanitizer
If you can supply or donate, please contact Oxford County Paramedic Services at ems@oxfordcounty.ca or 1-800-755-0394, ext. 3550, to arrange pick up or drop off. Any donations collected will be shared with our local healthcare partners.
