Family Transition Program selected for SPARK mentorship


Woodingford Lodge’s Family Transition Program was accepted to be a part of this year’s prestigious SPARK mentorship program which will see the Family Transition Program receive support from the Mental Health Coalition of Canada. SPARK or the Supporting the Promotion of Activated Research and Knowledge training program helps participants who work, or volunteer in the mental health or substance use and addiction fields apply techniques for moving ideas into practice. The Family Transition Program team was one of 16 projects selected this year. The program will receive mentorship for one year from renowned researches to help us enhance this project on a national level. Additionally, as part of the selection, team members were invited to attend a multi-day workshop where they had an opportunity to learn and work alongside an experienced mentor and knowledge translation experts.
